Nov. 23 Poem A Day Challenge
Today's prompt: write a poem filled with noise.
*****
Honking cars
and crying babies
and cell phones ringing
and cell phones being answered
and the din of conversation
and jet engines roaring to life
and opening the cap on a bottle
and cracking knuckles
and slamming doors
and yelling
and music shaking the walls
and the thonk of a tennis ball
and the doorbell
and the lectures
and the computer
and the printer
and the white noise playing in the background
and then...
Shutting out the noise for a few hours of sleep.
